Ford has revealed new Ford Fiesta Van is an agile and stylish car derived van with class leading fuel efficiency when it launches in 2013.
The Ford Fiesta Van is powered with new 1.5 litre Duratorq TDCi engine which produces 75hp, 1.6 litre Duratorq TDCi engine which produces 95hp both built in Dagenham and 1.25 litre Duratec petrol units which produces 82hp assembled at Bridgend. The ultra efficient Fiesta Van Econetic is powered with 1.6 litre Duratorq TDCi engine which produces 95hp with standard Auto Start Stop, lowered suspension, aerodynamic rear under tray and wheel trims and low rolling resistance tyres.
The Ford Fiesta Van diesel engines produce 100g/km CO2 emissions and fuel efficiency of the car is 76.4mpg or better. The Fiesta Econetic Van features enhanced fuel saving technologies to deliver best-in-class 87g/km CO2 emissions and fuel efficiency of the car is 85.6mpg.
The new Ford Fiesta Van has Ford driver assistance and safety features. Ford MyKey for safer driving and limit drivers exposure to risk at wheel as well as providing fleets with ownership information. The car features in car connectivity system, Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance, 1.0 cubic metre load space, Active City Stop system designed to help drivers avoid low speed collisions, Hill Start Assist, Easy Fuel and Rear View Camera.
The Ford Fiesta Van features sharper design with laser cut LED headlamps, power dome bonnet and optional 17 inch alloy wheels. The interior design was reconfigured with relocated switch gear, new centre console with arm rest and new materials, interfaces and displays.
The Ford Fiesta Van is available to order now and delivery to the customers starts from January 2013.
