Volkswagen the German car manufacturers all wheel drive Volkswagen Golf R is tuned by German car tuning company Sport-Wheels which have planned to make additional enhancements on the performance of the car.

Volkswagen Golf R is powered with a 2.0L TSI 4-cylinder engine system making 265-hp with a highest torque of 258 lb-ft or 350Nm The Golf R runs from 0 to 62 mph time in less than 6.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.

The Sports-Wheels enhance the car to 330-hp and 332lb-ft or 450Nm of torque. The power boost comes from a recalibrated ECU as well as a custom sport exhaust system to the cars engine. The car has sporting suspension, lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels from O.Z. and equipped with 235/30 R20 tires.

Ford revealed new 2011 Mondeo sedan

Ford the US car manufacturer Europe division has revealed new 2011 Mondeo sedan for the 2011 model year along with some design upgrades and a new 4-cylinder EcoBoost turbo engine.

The 2011 Ford Mondeo gets few elegant improvements that bring the outside of the car closer to new Fiesta and upcoming 2012 Focus. It also features similar updates seen on the new Ford S-MAX and Galaxy models that hit European roads earlier this year.

The 2011 Mondeo is the first car of the high-performance 237-hp version of the 2.0L EcoBoost 4-cylinder turbocharged unit. It is not sure this engine is available on the stateside but we are already dreaming of one in a high-performance 2012 Focus. The Mondeo is the intro of the upgraded 2.2 Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, which now produces 197-hp.

The 2011 Ford Mondeo will be available for sales in October which is going to make its debut at August in the 2010 Moscow Motor Show.

Lumma Design unveiled CLR X 650 M with 194 mph

Lumma Design the German car tuner has unveiled their powerful and aggressive looking CLR X 650 M which is based on the BMW X6 xDrive50i car.

The CLR X 650 M car obtain increase in power and now generates 670-hp with a highest torque of 627 lb-ft which is a 20% increase in horsepower and a 25% increase in torque when evaluated to the standard BMW X6 M. The enhancement of car comes from a new high performance exhaust system, finished with quad tailpipes. Top speed for the Lumma Design CLR X 650 M now reaches 194 mph.

The improved CLR X 650 M gets an improved rear skirt and wing, flared fenders, 3 section front spoiler with daytime LED runners and upgraded side sills. The improved X6 travels on 20-inch wheels and is lowered by 45 mm. Lumma also added a new carbon and Kevlar on top of the car.

Honda announced price details of 2011 Honda CR-Z

Honda the Japanese automobile manufacturer has announced United States price details of the 2011 Honda CR-Z. The price of the car is $19,200 and is available for sale with dealers on August 24.

The 2011 Honda CR-Z is powered with a hybridized 1.5-L petrol engine system with 122 hp or 91 kW or 124 PS with 128 lb-ft or 174 Nm of torque. The car is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional Continuously Variable Transmission or CVT which costs $650.

Honda estimated the CR-Z manual will attain an EPA rating of 31 mpg in city and 37 mpg in highway, while the CR-Z CVT will likely return 35 mpg in city a and 39 mpg in highway.

The 2011 Honda CR-Z base model is outfitted with an AM/FM/CD/USB audio system, power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, keyless entry and cruise control. The CR-Z EX includes top audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer with additional cost of $1560, Bluetooth connectivity, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. At $22,560, the CR-Z EX is available with Navigation features and all the above mentioned features as well as a navigation system with voice recognition.

Mercedes-Benz revealed Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell Prototype

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the Mercedes-BenzSLS AMG E-Cell Prototype. The E-Cell will be powered in full by electricity through lithium-ion polymer battery modules. These are located in the centre tunnel just behind the two seats.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Cell is powered with four electric motors which produce 392 kW or 526 bhp or 533 PS and peak torque of 880 Nm or 649 lb-ft. Actually the battery pack has a maximum load potential of 480 kW or 644 bhp or 653 PS. The car is accelerated to 0 - 60 mph in 4 seconds. Mercedes has not said anything about the range or battery recharging details.

Small adjustments were made to place the new powertrain including using an independent multilink front suspension with pushrod damper struts, instead of the double wishbone used by the petrol powered SLS AMG.

There are two cooling system circuits, an extended front apron to help airflow under the body, as well as an extendable front splitter which the driver can control through a button. The SLS optional ceramic composite brakes with sizes 18.5-inches up front and 14.2-inches at the rear are fitted.

The interior of the car features an AMG instrument cluster with displays for speed, charge status, a mix of leather and Alcantara for the seats and a 10-inch touch screen among others. The exterior of the car features a wider front grille, LED headlights, new air outlets on the bonnet, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels with 265/35 and 295/30 tyres respectively.

Renault revealed Renault Clio Gordini 200 on United Kingdom

Renault the French car manufacturer revealed limited edition Renault Clio Gordini 200 on United Kingdom. The price of the car is £19,650. The production of racing stripe emblazoned Clio will be limited to 500 for United Kingdom which will be painted in metallic Malta Blue.

The car is powered with a 2.0-liter engine system with 200hp, 149 kW and 203 PS. The features on the car include white side mirrors, Brembo brakes and F1-style blade contrasted with a shiny black center bumper section. It rides on special 17-inch polished alloy wheels with a black inner rim. The car is also available is an upgraded Cup Suspension, a step above to the sport chassis.

The interior of Renault Clio RS gets dark grey leather seats, Gordini-embossed logos and Gordini-badged gear knob. The steering wheel is finished in blue, dark grey leather with two white stripe, white rev counter, black gloss finish to the centre console, fascia inserts and air vent surrounds and a plate that shows the build number complete the cosmetic upgrades.

The Gordini Clio RS' standard features include climate control, radio-CD with Bluetooth hands free system with fingertip remote control and multifunctional Tune Point with USB connection, and double optic headlamps with additional cornering lights. The Renault Clio Gordini 200 is now available for order, which is delivered to the customers in July.

Fiat revealed Abarth 500C and Abarth Punto Evo

Fiat the Italian car manufacturer has revealed new images of the Abarth 500C and Abarth Punto Evo. The cars will be available for sale in Italy first and soon after in the rest of Europe.

The Abarth 500C is powered with a turbocharged 1.4-L Turbo T-Jet engine system with 138 hp or 103kW or 140 PS and 206 Nm or 152 lb-ft of torque. The car is accelerated to 0-100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds, the 500C has a combined fuel efficiency rating of 6.5 L/100km or 36.2 mpg US.

Abarth 500C is available with a choice of two colors for the electrically operated rollover canvas top black or titanium gray, and for the first time on the 500 series, optional two-tone paintworks for the body with racing black and white or two tones of gray. The standard Abarth 500 obtains a full bodykit along with unique 17-inch alloy wheels and a tricked out interior.

The Abarth Punto Evo features a turbocharged 1.4-L Multiair engine system with 162 hp or119 kW or 164 PS and 250 Nm or 184 lb-ft of torque. It enables the hatchback to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

Volkswagen revealed new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta

Volkswagen the German car manufacturer revealed sixth-generation Volkswagen in New York. The new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta was produced to be price valuable and price starts from $15,995 which is $1,740 less than the fifth generation car.
The US customers will choose from 4 different engines, including a brand new 138-hp 2.0-L common rail TDI that produces a robust 320 Nm of torque. Also new is the 114- hp entry level petrol engine system. The other two petrol engine system available in the US are the 2.5-L unit producing 168 hp and a 2.0- L TSI that generates 197 hp. The TSI will be used in the Jetta GLI, which will not be sold Stateside until 2011. Each of the two turbocharged units are available with a six-speed DSG transmission, though a manual transmission comes standard.

Six engines will be available on Europe spec Jetta, in that four are new models. Two of the new engines are common rail turbodiesels, including the 1.6- L TDI BlueMotion 103 hp and 138-hp 2.0-L TDI. The new car models are 103-hp 1.2 TSI and 158-hp 1.4 TSI engines. These 4 models will not be sold until 2011. The car will only be available with two TSI units a 1.4-L model kicking out 121 hp, and a 2.0- L 197-hp model. Both 1.4-L models may be mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission, while the 1.6- and 2.0-L TDI, and 2.0-L TSI can be captivated up to a 6-speed DSG transmission.

The new Jetta is longer than the fifth-gen car. The latest sedan has a wheelbase that is seven centimeters longer, and a body that is nine centimeters longer, than the outgoing model. As such, the car measures 4.64-meters long by 1.78-meters wide by 1.45-meters high, and have a 2650-mm long wheelbase. The new Jetta have a shorter rear end, with a sharper rear windscreen.

The bigger proportions translate to more legroom inside, which has been increased by nearly 7%. The extra width can definitely be seen at the front of the car, where the added width translates to a sportier appearance. The redesigned front fascia adds to this, with the short grille element, and narrow headlights.

Hennessey transported the first Hennessey Venom GT car

Hennessey the car manufacturer has transported the first Hennessey Venom GT car to its customer in the UAE or United Arab Emirates. The Hennessey Venom GT is based on the Lotus Elise / Exige car.

The Hennessey Venom GT features a twin-turbo V8 engine system with 1,200 hp or 895 kW or 217 PS and 1,135 lb-ft or 1537 Nm of torque. It enables the 2,685 lbs or 1,220 kilo supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 440 km/h or 272 mph.

The mid-range model also uses the twin-turbo V8 engine system, but develops 1,030 hp or 768 kW or 1044 PS and 972 lb-ft or 1216 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h or 124 mph in 7 seconds, and 0-300 km/h or 186 mph in 14.9 seconds. The company didn't reveal the top speed of the car.

The entry-level Venom GT features a supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8, from the Corvette ZR1, which churns out 725 hp or 541 kW or 735 PS. While no additional specifications were released, it will likely outgun the Vette.

The additional goodies of the car include carbon fiber bodywork with the rear wing lifted, a 6 speed Ricardo manual transmission, Brembo brakes with 15.0 x 1.34 carbon ceramic rotors and an adjustable KW coilover suspension.

Morgan revealed teaser images of Morgan EvaGT coupe model

Morgan the UK car manufacturer revealed teaser images of Morgan EvaGT coupe model which will make its debut at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California on August 15.

The Morgan EvaGT is powered with a BMW sourced 3.0L engine system, twin-turbo straight-six with 306 PS or 225 kW and 400 Nm of torque featured in every 35i model from the Bavarian brand. The engine will propel EvaGT to 100 km/h or 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and weight of car is only 1,250 kg. Top speed is a serious enough 273 km/h or 170 mph with a very reasonable fuel consumption of fuel system is 7 liters/100 km in a combined cycle.

The EvaGT is a 4-seater coupe model based on Aero Supersports platform but featuring a modified variant of that aluminum chassis one also used for the Morgan GT3 racer. The car is being designed by computer software and aims for a very fluid, aerodynamic styling. The body panels designed and stamped by machine, will also be made of aluminum and feature a hand finish.

The EvaGT will have a restricted production of only 100 units. Morgan has begun taking orders on the car requiring a £5,000 or $7,315 or €6,057 deposit even though the cost of the car has not yet been announced.

The Panoz Abruzzi car is powered with an engine system that produces over 600HP or 447 kW / 608 PS and up to 590 ft-lb or 799 Nm of torque. The 81st 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race will take place in 2013, most likely with the limited edition car.

This is culmination of equal parts time, effort and dreams. The Panoz brand always has prided itself on hand-building and delivering an exotic automobile and experience to our customers. Our new offering takes this to a completely new level said in a report by company founder Don Panoz.

The engine will be mounted at the front, though an advanced radiator will be mounted at the back. The car body uses a multi layer composite material instead of carbon fiber because it is lighter, just as strong, more resistant to damage, and recyclable. The cars have own unique progressions. Items like the dual front split and carved front end have been seen before, but not in the way portrayed here. The elimination of the front headlight bulbs, in place of LED lighting strips, looks interesting, as do the side sills. A nice revision can be seen at the back, where the rear end has styling that better matches the front.

The customers will be able to get driver training at the Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans, while getting VIP treatment at a 24 Hours of Le Mans event. The cost of Panoz Abruzzi Spirit of Le Mans has not been announced by Panoz.

The 2011 Volkswagen Phaeton has one turbodiesel and three petrol engine system available. The V6 TDI kicks out 237 bhp or 174 kW / 240 PS with a 5.6% improvement in fuel consumption. It now uses 8.5L of diesel per 100 kilometers, or 27.7 mpg, while producing 224 grams of CO2 per km. The car has direct injection petrol V6 engine that produces 276 hp or 206 kW / 280 PS is new to the Phaeton. The car is probably be tuned to more robust and more fuel efficient.

The changes to the 2011 Volkswagen Phaeton car include a completely remodeled front end that incorporates LED cornering lights, and bi-xenon headlights that touch either side of the chrome grille. The rear light cluster is also comprised of LEDs behind smoked lenses.

The drivers get interior benefit of items from the Volkswagen Exclusive line, including Alcantara, leather and wood. 18-way seating is also featured on the front seats, while the optional individual rear seats are electronically adjustable. Volvo announced new Volvo Concept Truck 2020

Volvo the Swedish commercial automobile manufacturer announced Volvo Concept Truck 2020 is closer to reality than one may expect.

The Volvo Concept Truck 2020 is a plan for a more environment and road friendly transporter. The truck features new technologies and an aerodynamic design to decrease fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Our vision for the future is not that far away. Much of the technology in the Volvo Concept Truck 2020 is already available said in a statement by Volvo Trucks design director Rikard Orell.

The new technologies will be an auto pilot system, managed through a wireless connection which can take a group of trucks across the European continent at speeds of about 90 km/h or 56 mph, figuring a road train that will make truck traffic more efficient on Europe which is already busy highways.

The Concept Truck 2020 has rear view cameras that project an image onto the inside of the windscreen, LED headlamps and indicators and collision protection panels on trucks nose. The panel on dashboard with advanced touchpad screen like an iPhone providing the right information to the driver. As for comfort on those long hauls, the driver has the benefit of a fouton sofa in berth behind front seats which folds out into a bed to sleep at night.

Saleen announced new 2011 Saleen S302 unveiled at this week end

Saleen the US Sports car manufacturer Saleen Performance cars 2011 Saleen S302 unveiled at the Carlisle Ford Nationals in Carlisle this week end. The Saleen S302 is launched after 435S and S281 previous year.
The car is based on the 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0-L, thrust is provided by the same V8 engine system and it pushes out 317 kW or 425 bhp or 431 PS while torque is 536 Nm or 395 lb-ft. Drive is through the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential.

The car is supported by all wheel drive system. It is rumored as 8-speed automatic transmission. The Galibier is imagined to be the most exclusive, elegant, and powerful 4-door car in the world.

The Bugatti 16C Galibier is a concept car but now rumors have recommended Bugatti will put the Galibier into production when the Veyron is phased out. The company has been silent on details of the car. As formerly declared the preliminary feedback received from customers and opinion formers on it had been very positive.

If past reports are exact, Bugatti has brand the Galibier design and plans to launch the £900,000 or $1.31m or €1.08m uber-sedan in 2013.

Citroen unveiled 2011 Citroen C4 debut at Paris Motor Show

Citroen the French car manufacturer has unveiled 2011 Citroen C4 car on website. The car is available for sale with dealers on next year which is going to make its first debut at Paris Motor Show.

The 2011 Citroen C4 is expected to be available with the usual turbocharged petrols and HDi diesels. More significantly Citroen will launch a C4 Hybrid car with a 1.6-L e-HDi diesel engine. The hybrid will feature regenerative brake system, an engine stop/start system, and low-rolling resistance tires. The emissions of the car are expected to be 109 g/km, but those numbers could fall to 99 g/km in more eco-friendly variants.

The 2011 Citroen C4 car features aggressive headlights, a bolder grille, and additional chrome accents. The car also has roof-mounted spoiler, classier rear bumper and modern taillights.The interior cabin of the car possesses a massive steering wheel, metallic accents, and an improved center stack.

Other goodies include a high-tech instrument cluster which offers a variety of a setting, 408 L of goods capacity, and an eTouch system that watches fuel utilization and driving practice of the car. Optionally the car has massaging front seats, a blind spot monitoring system and a panoramic sunroof.
