Cadillac the Luxury car manufacturer one of the division of General Motors revealed the new Cadillac CTS-V Racing Coupe.
The Cadillac CTS-V Racing Coupe is powered with supercharged 6.2L V8 engine system which produces 535 hp which is 21 hp less than standard CTS-V Coupe. The weight of the car is 1,000 pounds less than production model. The Cadillac CTS-V Racing Coupe features unique wedge outline, aerodynamic carbon fiber body design which is finely right for the race track. The car has deck top spoiler was added to the racecar for improved traction.
The Cadillac CTS-V Racing Coupe will be driven by Johnny O'Connell and Andy Pilgrim. O'Connell is a three-time GT1 champion in America Le Mans Series and Pilgrim claimed victory in 2005 SCCA World Challenge GT class. The CTS will battle other contenders in the highly-competitive Sports Car Club of America World Challenge GT series.
The CTS-V Coupe racecar has been very nimble during testing and seems to brake very well. I not only expect it to do well on a street circuit, but everywhere we compete said in a report by O'Connell.
