Ford announced new 2012 Ford Cobra Jet Mustang

Ford the US car manufacturer has announced plans to produce a new version of 2012 Ford Cobra Jet Mustang.

The 2012 Cobra Jet car is powered with a 5.4-L V8 engine system with a 2.3-L TVS supercharger or an optional 4.0-L Whipple supercharger which is based on 2010 model. Other features include black anodized wheels with tires from Goodyear, double keyed crankshaft snout, Manley H-beam connecting rods and Strange Engineering brake system.

The 2012 Cobra Jet car 2012 Cobra Jet car will attempt to hold the strength of original Cobra Jet while developing the next generation of drag racing icon announced in a report by George Goddu, Business Manager of Ford Racing. The 2012 Cobra Jet can be competitive at almost any event from their local race to NHRA Stock or Super Stock classes.

The cost details of the 2012 Cobra Jet car were $91,900 and production of cars will be limited to 50.
