BMW the German car manufacturer announced new 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder petrol or gasoline engine system in X1 xDrive28i.
The new BMW X1 xDrive28i 2.0 unit features BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine produces 242 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It has all aluminum crankcase, twin scroll turbocharging system, high precision solenoid injectors for direct injection system and Valvetronic variable valve control system. The engine produces 242 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
The all-wheel drive X1 xDrive28i fuel economy with the new 2.0L turbo power plant comes in at 7.9liters/100 km on the EU test cycle. The acceleration of engine system is 6.1 seconds with manual transmission on the 0 to 100 km/h and 6.5 seconds with the automatic transmission.
The X1 xDrive28i comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission and BMW Efficient Dynamics technology which includes regenerative braking and a stop/start system. BMW 8-speed automatic is available as an option on the X1 xDrive28i. The 2.0L turbo was rolled out to Z4 and 5-Series this year shortly.
