BMW has revealed the new generation BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition or EDE car.
The BMW 520d EDE car is powered with 2.0L diesel engine system with 181 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and top speed of car is 231 km/h. The average fuel consumption of the car is 4.5 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.
The BMW 520d EDE car features auto start/stop system, Optimum Shift Indicator, centrifugal pendulum absorber, Brake Energy Regeneration, active cooling flap control, longer final drive ratio and aerodynamic wheels.
BMW also announced 2012 5-Series will offer a new 2.0-liter petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo technology. The BMW 520i car is powered with four-cylinder engine which produces 181 hp and 270 Nm of torque. The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and top speed of the car is 227 km/h.
The BMW 528i car is powered with modified turbocharging and injection technology four cylinder engine which produces 241 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The car is accelerated from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and top speed of the car is 250 km/h.
