Ford the US car manufacturer has officially announced plans to unveil the Ford Focus RS car in Australia. The car is available in single widely outfitted designs. The cost of the Ford Focus RS from Australian $59,990 and only 315 cars will be imported.
The Ford Focus RS features a turbocharged Duratec RS 2.5L engine system with 300 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque. The interior of the cabin has Recaro sports seats, dual zone climate control, and an eight-speaker Sony audio system with a six-disc CD player and a USB input.
The Ford Focus RS car features sports suspension with RevoKnuckle technology, Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing Helical Limited Slip Differential, high performance braking system, xenon headlights, rear parking sensors and 19-inch alloy wheels equipped with Continental tires. The Ford Focus RS will be available in different color options Ultimate Green, Performance Blue, and Frozen White.
The buzz and excitement surrounding Focus RS has spread rapidly around the globe since it was introduced in Europe early last year, winning a host of motoring awards and receiving widespread critical acclaim for its outstanding combination of high performance road car technology and every day Focus practicality. Now it is poised to conquer the Australia market, setting a new benchmark for hot hatch performance in this country and creating a whole new generation of performance car enthusiasts in the process said in a report by Marin Burela President & CEO of Ford Australia.
