Dodge Ram revealed Ram Long-Hauler concept truck based on Class 5 Ram 5500 Crew Cab which is designed to tow multiple or heavy trailers, drives long distances or small business owners.
The Ram Long-Hauler concept truck is powered with an inline six-cylinder 6.7L High Output Cummins Turbo Diesel engine system with around 800 lb.-ft. of torque. The car is connected to six-speed Aisin AS68RC automatic transmission with four-wheel-drive.
The Ram Long-Hauler concept truck interior was upgraded with NVH package that ensures a quiet cabin environment, 115V and 12V power outlets on front and rear, Wi-Fi enabled, 2+2 leather high comfort driver seat, power-adjustable footrests for rear passengers and rear center console that includes a refrigerator, cup holders and tray tables. The exterior was painted with brilliant black is accented by white gold metallic lower two tone body side moldings and wide wheel flares on front and rear.
The Ram Long-Hauler concept truck features 19.5-inch Alcoa aluminum wheels, 197.4 - inch wheelbase, laptop storage area, tire pressure monitoring system, rear axle temperature gauge, exhaust gas temperature and boost gauges to monitor the performance of the vehicle by the driver. The car also features inductive charger and DVD player with overhead screen for rear seat passengers entertainment.
