Ford has revealed the 2013 Ford Flex car which is going to make its first debut at the Los Angeles motor show later this month.
The 2013 Ford Flex car is powered with upgraded 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 engine which provides 285 hp an approximate 20hp increase from previous engine and 255 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy of the car is 18 mpg on city and 25 mpg on highway.
The 2013 Ford Flex car is also powered with 3.5L Eco Boost V6 engine with all wheel capability on new Flex. The fuel economy of the car is 355hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are connected to a six speed Select Shift Automatic transmission with Eco Boost, paddle shifters are integrated into steering wheel spokes.
The 2013 Ford Flex car is seven passengers three rows crossover is equipped with new generation of MyFord Touch with two 4.2 inch screens in instrument cluster and 8 inch screen in center stack, rear inflatable belts, collision avoidance technologies, rain sensing wipers, keyless entry, first row heated and cooled seats, power fold mirrors, adaptive cruise control, Ford Blind Spot Information System as well as push button start, rear inflatable belts, rain sensing wipers and active park assist and optional new Appearance Package.
The 2013 Ford Flex car is available with two tone roof and mirrors, 20 inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets, leather seats, unique door trim panels and other interior upgrades for truly distinctive, premium look and feel. The car is available in nine exterior colors, including three new colors for the 2013 model year: Ruby Red, Deep Impact Blue and Kodiak Brown. Customers can also choose from body color roofs or two tone with white, gray or black available on Appearance Package.
