Ford has officially revealed the 2012 Focus ST-R race concept car which is built with U.S. racing.
The 2012 Focus ST-R race concept car is powered with the sophisticated 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 engine is first to benefit from collaborative effort of Ford and Ford racers from around the world who have experience building and racing Focus successfully. The car is connected to 6-speed manual transmission with Ford Racing limited-slip differential Chassis.
The 2012 Focus ST-R race concept car interior has Ford racing lightweight wiring harnesses, recaro racing Seat, GPS based data system, Ford Racing short throw shifter, fire suppression system, 6-point safety harness, driver safety nets, steering wheel with quick release and Custom carbon fiber center panel with switches. The car exterior has 2012 Focus ST body kit, Brake cooling ducts and Hood pins.
The 2012 Focus ST-R race concept car features adjustable dampers, camber plates, upgraded sway bar with adjustable end links, upgraded bushings, control blade multilink rear suspension, brakes with 2-piece rotors and race pads, Ford ABS with unique Ford racing calibration, 18" BBS CF 1 piece cast alloy wheel and Hoosier 225/40-18 R6 race tires.
