Bentley has revealed two new 2013 Bentley Continental V8 models Bentley Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible which will be going to make its first debut at North American International Auto Show in Detroit on 9th January 2012.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible car is powered with new 4.0 litre twin turbocharged V8 engine produces maximum power of 500bhp and 660Nm of peak torque. The car is connected with new close ratio 8 speed automatic transmission. The car is accelerated from 0-60 mph in sub 5 seconds and top speed of car is 180mph.
The 2013 Bentley Continental V8 models new V8 engine features variable displacement with highly sophisticated engine management system, high pressure direct injection, low friction bearings, thermal management, energy recuperation via charging system and innovative turbo charger packaging for greater efficiency.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT and the Continental GTC are distinguished by black gloss matrix grille with chrome frame and centre bar, red enamel Bentley ‘B’ badge and black matrix three segment lower front bumper divided by distinctive body colored strakes. The rear has unique chromed ‘figure eight’ exhaust tailpipes, dark lower valance and red enamel ‘B’ bootlid badge emphasise sporty, contemporary identity of the new V8s.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT and GTC models has 20-inch alloy wheels as standard with optional 21-inch six spoke design which is available in dramatic Diamond Black or Diamond Silver finishes. The car interior cabin has Eliade cloth headlining and pillar trim, new contemporary Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneers, optional two tone leather color split and short centre console, sporting design theme.
The two new 2013 Bentley Continental models will be offered flagship 6.0 litre,12-cylinder engine Continental GT and GTC. The ultimate power of twin-turbocharged W12 Continental engine produces 631bhp. Both new models feature all-wheel drive system with advanced Torsen differential and 40:60 rear biased power split which ensures safe dynamic sports car handling in all road conditions.
