Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC hybrid and E400 hybrid car.
The Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC hybrid car is powered with 4-cylinder diesel engine and an electric motor. The engine produces 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque and the electric motor produces 20 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The fuel consumption of the car is 4.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 109g/km. The car is available as Saloon and Estate, impresses with new record values when it comes to efficiency. The E300 BlueTEC hybrid is most economical luxury class vehicle in world.
The Mercedes-Benz E400 hybrid car is powered with 3.5 literV6 cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. The engine produces 306 hp and 370 Nm of torque and electric motor produces 20 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The fuel consumption of the car is 24 mpg on city and 31 mpg on highway.
The Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC hybrid and E400 hybrid cars are compact, intelligent and modular hybrid concept cars. The car has significant increase in comfort with start/stop operation, noiseless start and complete climatic comfort. The car also has impressive hybrid driving experience with regenerative braking, boost effect, purely electric motoring and sailing function.
The Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC hybrid and E400 hybrid cars will be going to make its first debut at the Detroit motor show. The Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC hybrid car is launched on European market while the Mercedes-Benz E400 hybrid car will available on american market first, followed by Japan and China later.
