Toyota the Japanese car manufacturer has announced plans to launch the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner RTR or Ready to Race on SEMA Motor Show. The car is designed to show the competence of Toyota engineering.
The Tacoma X-Runner RTR is powered with Tundra-sourced 5.7L V8 engine system which has been equipped with a TRD supercharger which produces 504 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. The car is assisted to 6-speed automatic transmission which transfers power to wheels whereas using premium gas rather than race fuel.
The engineers equipped mechanical limited slip differential, lowered suspension, custom side-exiting exhaust system and 15-inch wheels with race-specific Goodyear Eagle tires.
The interior of the cabin has been exposed of non-essential equipment and equipped with a TRD steering wheel and a roll bar. The car has sporty red, silver paint design and special graphics on the styling section.
