Volvo the Swedish car manufacturer has revealed the 2011 Volvo V60 on the Paris Motor Show. The 2011 Volvo V60 is based on the Volvo S60.
The 2011 Volvo V60 will be manufactured with a variety of engine system. The 2011 Volvo V60 is powered with a 3.0L T6 petrol engine system which produces 300 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque which allows the AWD car to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and strike a limited top speed of 250 km/h. Volvo also offers GTDi or Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection engines. The 2.0T engine system produces 200 hp and 237 hp whereas the 1.6L engine system with 148 hp and 178 hp.
The 2011 Volvo V60 is also available with 2.4-L D5 diesel engine system with 202 hp and 2.0-L D3 with 161hp. A DRIVe model will be introduced with a 1.6-L engine system which produces 113 hp and 199 lb-ft of torque.
The 2011 Volvo V60 car features sporty styling and luxurious interior with 5-inch infotainment display, urbane wood trim and boot which can hold 430 liters of luggage. The safety features of the car include Advanced Stability Control, a new Corner Traction Control which is additional enhancement of Dynamic Stability and Traction Control or DSTC system and Pedestrian Detection system.
