Buick has unveiled new Buick Regal GS car at the North American International Auto Show. The GS car features a modified front end, a compacted ride height, dual exhaust pipes, sole rocker panels, an incorporated rear spoiler, and 20-inch wheels equipped with high performance tires. Inside, Buick added a sport steering wheel, metal pedals, and Recaro front seats.
The Power of new Buick Regal GS car comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder direct injected Ecotec turbocharged engine, that produces 255 hp / 190 kW and 295 lb-ft / 400 Nm of torque which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and an adjusted all-wheel-drive system. The GS is capable of 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds. It also contains an Interactive Drive Control System (IDCS) and a Brembo braking system.
"We designed the Regal GS to explore the appeal of a high-performance variant of the Regal." said in a report by Craig Bierley Buick's product marketing manager. Still it is not confirmed that the GS will go into production.
