Volvo has released the new 2.0-liter Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection or GTDi four-cylinder engine for the S80, V70, and XC60. The engine attributes a turbocharger, direct injection, and double changeable camshafts. The engine offer sole grouping of short fuel expenditure, low emissions and good performance.
The engine is equipped with the worlds first exhaust manifold and incorporated turbine system made of sheet steel. The GTDi engine will be at first released in South-East Asia, Netherlands, China and Japan. It will be offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
