Lexus announcednew 2011 CT 200h compact hybrid hatchback car sale in US

Lexus the luxury car manufacturing division of Toyota Motor Corporation announced that the new 2011 CT 200h compact hybrid hatchback car will set out for sale in U.S.


The Lexus CT 200h car is powered with a1.8L VVT-i Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined to a powerful electric motor fueled by nickel-metal hydride batteries. Four driving modes will be available in the car Normal, Eco, Sport and EV. The CT 200h has an electric-vehicle or EV mode that let the car to run only on its electric motor for up to 1.2 miles at speeds of upto 28 mph.

“The CT 200h is expected to lead the class in fuel economy and deliver low emissions, but the CT 200h isn’t just about being a hybrid, it’s about having fun. The stylish CT 200h has an attitude and driving dynamic unlike any other Lexus hybrid. It will excite eco-conscious, young consumers and symbolize urban, luxury living.” said in a report by Mark Templin, Lexus division group vice president and general manager.

The 2011 Lexus CT 200h will make its first debut at the 2010 New York Auto Show next week which is beginning on March 31.
