Mazda using Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive technology

Mazda will be using Toyotas Hybrid Synergy Drive technology the second car manufacturer using this technology followed by Nissan. Mazda has signed a contract with the hybrid behemoth that will notice the little company get a supply of hybrid hardware most probably contain communication, power electronics including the software and battery packs.

Mazda Sky Engine The mechanism will be coupled with the new production, a direct injected Sky-G 2.0L petrol engine system which is displayed by Mazda at the previous Tokyo Motor Show. The car allegedly convey 15-20% enhancement in fuel economy. Mazda will produce a new hybrid car starting in 2013 with this equipment, the first it has manufactured on its own. The only previous Mazda hybrid was the Tribute, a re badge Ford Escape.

Nissan has currently manufactured its individual in house hybrid system and when the Altima is reproduced in the next coming years it appears doubtful it will keep its present Toyota hybrid system.
