Hulme CanAm supercar orders are accepted

The car manufacturer of Hulme CanAm supercar announced orders are accepted for from New Zealand now being. The car is named after that countries only Formula 1 champion the late Denny Hulme. CanAm first came into public life at 2006 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Following encouraging public interest, a decision was made to build it, but keep it very exclusive. As such only 20 units will be available for sale.

Hulme CanAm SupercarHulme CanAm supercar is powered by a 7.0-L V8 Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine system worth 600 bhp or 447 kW or 608 PS and 600Nm or 443 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. The car is able to race from 0 - 100km/h in less than 3.5 seconds. Top speed is above 200 mph or 322 km/h. The car is assisted to engine is a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox. A sequential manual shift option will be available.

The driving experience is indulged buying experience offered by Hulme. Customers will be given two Air New Zealand Business Premier return tickets to Auckland, one week luxury accommodation, final fitting in the car and some extra driving on a track.

The 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed event could be the site of a private viewing and a test drive. Interested parties can lay down a £10,000 or US$14,400 deposit which is fully refundable should interest not turn into full order. The actual minimum price is £295,000 or US$424,800 and it will be delivered worldwide. Hulme also offers the option of buying the whole lot on a first-come-first-serve basis. The car is available for sales in UK in autumn of 2011 and continues into 2012.
