The U.S. electric car manufacturer Tesla announced that it will be going to introduce an all electric crossover efficacy car in 2013.
Tesla is gazing to develop its model lineup beyond the current Tesla Roadster and the forthcoming Model S sedan, set for launch in 2012, Tesla is manufacturing electric car products clearly intended at a crowd market.
But the Palo Alto, California based Tesla Motors may not be as ambitious as they seem at first sight. "The smallest effect Tesla will make will be the cars we make ourselves. The biggest effect will be the cars they make," said in a report by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Tesla is currently in a joint venture with Daimler to provide electric vehicle technology to be used in models such as Mercedes A Class and Smart brand lineup. It looks more likely that Tesla technology will see a better road presence in the future through a partner alliance as opposed to its own distributions.
