Buick the division of GM new 2011 Buick Excelle sedan car has been caught uncovered in China. The Chinese version car will be revealed at the Beijing Auto Show and the U.S. version will likely debuted next year. Buick recently revealed the Chinese version Excelle XT hatchback as badge engineered Opel Astra it seems entirely different than the Excelle sedan.
The details of the car are incomplete, power will probably be provided by a variety of four cylinder petrol engines. The car is powered with a 1.6-L engine system with 116 hp or 85 kW / 118 PS and 155 Nm or 114 lb-ft of torque, a 1.8-L engine system with 138 hp or 103 kW / 140 PS and 175 Nm or 129 lb-ft of torque, and a turbocharged 1.6-L engine with 180 hp or 135 kW / 183 PS and 235 Nm or 173 lb-ft of torque.
The car is based on the Opel Astra platform, the Excelle features a waterfall grille, distinctive headlights, hood-mounted porthole vents, and controversial taillights. Inside everything appears Astra-spec, except the badge on the steering wheel.
